Cutter foils Leek's evil plans

While Cutter is left reeling from the revelation that Helen helped Leek capture creatures from anomalies, Leek releases a Silurian scorpion at a busy beach and tells Lester to back off or there will be creatures released throughout the UK.

Abby, Connor and Jenny face a hungry sabre-toothed cat while looking for Rex. In a bid to save them, Cutter tricks Leek into plugging his laptop into the mainframe - but this causes all the systems to fail as Connor had planted a virus. Connor, Abby and Jenny escape as the doors open - but so do the animals...

Leek tells Cutter he has a whole army of future predators, all under his control via neural clamps devices implanted in their spinal columns. Cutter manages to destroy one of the neural clamps which short circuits all of the others and in so doing releases the future predators from Leek’s control.

As the creatures from the future turn on their former captor, Cutter takes his opportunity to escape but one team member is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice...
