Little Dorrit

Little Dorrit

BBC1, 8:00 PM

The Dorrits embark on a new life, as this adaption based on Charles Dickens's novel continues.

Showing in Scotland, Friday November 21*

We hope you're loving this colourful Dickensian drama as much as we are – there aren't many TV shows that appeal to the young and old alike. Tonight's instalment sees the Dorrits make their triumphant departure from Marshalsea prison. Mr Dorrit (the wonderful Tom Courtenay) wastes little time in employing Pam Ferris to teach his girls how to behave, and goodness, doesn't Amy's big sister, Fanny, need a jolly good talking to? Don't forget, there's an omnibus catch-up each Sunday evening on BBC1 should you need it.
