'Strictly was nerve-wracking,' says Kelly Brook

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Kelly Brook has admitted the show was the most "nerve-wracking" thing she's ever done.

The star strutted her stuff on the BBC1 show last year, until pulling out following the death of her dad.

Kelly's admission comes after Brendan Cole, her professional partner on the show, claimed that his new celebrity dance partner, Lisa Snowdon, is a better dancer.

Kelly advised this year's crop of contestants to make the most of the experience.

She said: "I'd just say really enjoy it and try not to let your nerves get the better of you, because it is the most nerve-wracking thing I think I've ever done.

"Just remember on Sunday morning you're gonna wake up and look back and go, 'My God, I can't believe I did that on Saturday night'.

"It's really something that you'll have for ever and it's such an incredible experience."

Meanwhile, Camilla Dallerup, who will be dancing with actor Tom Chambers, said hearing she and Tom are among the favourites makes her "slightly nervous".

"It's early days. We've just started training but I still do my best to live up to it - that would be nice if I could finally stand next to the trophy," she said.

The sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing is expected to launch on September 20.
